Copyediting

I have been a freelance copyeditor and proofreader, working primarily in religious studies and theology, since 2018. Past projects include monographs, edited volumes, and journal articles totaling 3500+ published pages (that’s more than a million words!). I am proficient in Chicago, MLA, and APA styles and have also worked with the house styles of Oxford University Press, Bloomsbury, Fortress, and University of North Carolina Press.

For a time, I was the regular copyeditor for three peer-reviewed journals (while also working a full- and part-time job, which I only mention to demonstrate to you, dear reader, how totally organized and on top of things I am). These days, I’m down to one job and one journal, which means I have time for other projects!
